David loves to take walks by the ocean, analyze cat behavior, and appreciate unlikely animal friendships. He has taught me about the importance of always having a plan, and to ALWAYS bring a jacket whenever I leave the house.

Marlene got to know Mikey while we all lived in Santa Cruz, when we hosted socially distanced happy hours every Friday in the backyard in covid times. Marlene is the life of the party, a wine aficionado, and inspires everyone around her to make the most of life.
