The Palmer House

Flight

Flying into O'Hare Airport

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is Chicago's largest airport with many options from international or regional airports and will have the most flight options available. It is 17 miles from O'Hare Airport to The Palmer House. Taxis are available from all terminals and take ~30 minutes without traffic (can be an hour or more during high traffic times). Ubers and Lyfts are also available, but you must navigate to Terminal 2's top floor (arrivals) for pick-up. Chicago's public train also runs from O'Hare to the Palmer House. It takes ~50 minutes on the Blue Line from the airport to the Monroe stop, which is a 3 minute walk from the Palmer House.

Flight

Flying into Midway Airport

Midway International Airport (MDW) is Chicago's second largest airport with both regional and more limited international flights. It is 11 miles from O'Hare Airport to the Palmer House. Taxis and Ubers/Lyfts are available from all terminals and take ~30 minutes without traffic (can be 45 minutes or more with traffic during peak times). Chicago's public train also runs from Midway Airport to the Palmer House. It takes ~45 minutes on the Orange Line from the airport to the Adams & Wabash stop, which is <1 minute walk from the Palmer House.
