About us: Mary Margaret grew up in East Tennessee, and Tristan was raised in British Columbia. Both had hearts for world travel, personality psychology, and their Christian faith. In 2016, over a friendship Internet site, they began to communicate about their unique worlds. A few years later, MM and Tristan decided to meet in person for the first time; since then, they joke that they have "kept airlines in business" while traveling back and forth from the US and Canada. During an adventurous whim to Quebec City, in the shadow of Chateau Frontenac on the St. Lawrence river, Tristan proposed-- a complete surprise to the now bride-to-be. After several considerations, they decided to plan what we now look forward to: the Big Day!

SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026 CEREMONY Jonesborough Presbyterian Church @ 1 PM (please arrive by 12:45 PM to ensure seating) RECEPTION The Heritage Event Venue from 2 - 5 PM Please dress at least business casual to respect the nature of the church. Our "wedding colors" are soft blue and sage green, but please wear whatever suits your style and comfort!

Dinner will be provided at the reception, with the option of Florentine Chicken and Vegetable Lasagna as your entree. You can select this on your RSVP card or message MM to choose. Please inform us of any food allergies or sensitivities. To access our registry and other information, please click the three lines in the Top Right corner of your screen and select "Registry." We appreciate your presence most of all, so please do not feel compelled to bring a gift. We are also open to gifts of your choosing from local stores! If you do use the Zola registry, the receiving address will be automatically provided upon checkout. We will accept all other gifts at the reception.

Out of respect for our day and to limit distractions, please refrain from taking photographs or videos during the church ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to assist with the highest-quality images, and we will be happy to distribute them after they are processed. Please be mindful of the photographer's sightlines while in the church. We value our privacy and the meaning behind our day, and we want to maintain the dignity of our images. Kindly, we ask to limit any sharing of photos to close family or friends, and not across social media. If you caught a reception candid that we might really like, you can text or email it to the bride. Kudos!
