Are you registered? Should I bring a gift?

Answer

We truly appreciate the effort all of our guests are making to join us for our wedding. Your presence means the world to us. While gifts are not expected, if you wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we would be grateful for your generosity. However, please know that your presence is the most important gift of all.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Get ready for a day of relaxed elegance and natural beauty. Gentlemen, think suits – ties are optional. Ladies, think flowy dresses with delicate patterns or soft hues– we have no color preference. Comfortable footwear is a must for strolling through the garden. Don't forget a light jacket for the cooler evening. The ceremony will take place on grass so for ladies I would advise them to wear a comfortable square heel or flat shoe.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Feel free to check out our travel page for our recommendations. Please keep in mind that if you're considering staying downtown, prices may be higher due to the Art Prize event, and availability might be limited depending on your booking date. However there are a lot of great hotels near the airport, which is less than ten miles from the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Plenty! Meijer gardens has free parking available.

Where should we fly in? When should I book the flight?

Answer

The closest airport to the venue is the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, approximately 10 miles away, a 14-minute drive. For flight bookings, we recommend checking Google Flights for the best deals. As of now, Google suggests that the cheapest time to book flights from Orlando to Grand Rapids is typically between July 13th and September 6th. "The lowest prices for similar trips to Grand Rapids are often found about 1 to 2 months before the departure date, with prices averaging $100 cheaper during this period."
