We met Sophomore year of college at Fairfield University through a mutual friend, Lauren Bruchansky, who will now stand by our side as we say "I do." One of our first memories together is playing a game of Apples to Apples with a bunch of friends in our dorm's lounge. After this initial introduction, we remained friends. But it wasn't until our junior year, during a spontaneous walk around campus to stargaze, that Brandon realized he was smitten. During Christmas break, we texted nearly every minute of every day, and upon our return, the feeling was mutual. We were officially a couple.

Back to where it all began, Brandon popped the question outside of Bellarmine Mansion at Fairfield University. The plan was to go for a stroll around campus with friends before heading to town for dinner. I was admiring the sunset when suddenly, Brandon asked to take a picture together. This instantly surprised me since Brandon never wants to take a picture. One second we were positioning ourselves in front of the mansion to capture the perfect pose, and the next, Brandon was down on one knee, a sparkling ring in hand. To put this into perspective, it was a random Thursday night after a long day at work--to say he caught me off guard would be an understatement. I was completely shocked and kept waving my arms and saying my favorite "Is this real?" line over and over again before finally saying "yes." Thanks to my reaction, it wasn't the graceful, fairy tale scene most people imagine, but for us, it was perfect. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
