This cash only taco spot is one block from our house and is a must if visiting Nashville. Avoid the typical lunch and dinner rush hour lines! And pro tip: If the line is long, you can order from the bar. CASH ONLY, but ATM inside.

Yeast Nashville

This breakfast pastry shop is known for serving up kolaches, but Wednesday through Sunday they serve the best breakfast tacos in Nashville. They might just know us by name. Closes at 1pm.

Dose

This Counter Culture Coffee Shop is the best coffee/breakfast combo on the East Side. The Rosemary Biscuit Sandwich is stellar.

Barista Parlor

While overpriced, this is still a good spot to get coffee and surprisingly great breakfast biscuit sandwiches (and burritos). This location is two blocks from our house, so the convenience is usually worth the up-charge of being in a trendy spot. They also have locations in The Gulch and Germantown
