Wedding Party

Willis has informed me that y'all know the drill, and that this space should be dedicated to his many folds. He has 147 unique folds, each more spectacular than the last.

Emily Watchel

Maid of Honor

Emily and I met approximately 33 years ago when we were womb mates. Although I can call her my “little” sister, since she was technically born a minute after me, I look up to her in so many ways. Emily’s ambitious and determined personality has allowed her to accomplish her dreams of becoming an architect and I am seriously in awe of her. She is one of the most kind and thoughtful human beings that I have ever known and I am so beyond lucky to have her as a sister. She and her wonderful husband, Dave, currently live in Oakland, CA.

Rachel Oligmueller

Bridesmaid

Rachel is one of my favorite human beings on the planet and is just a gorgeous person both inside and out. We first met in nursing school at NAU over 12 years ago and have remained friends ever since. What started out as “study dates”, aka watching Friends and talking about boys, quickly morphed into a life long friendship. She is currently a PACU nurse at Mayo and is the mother to one of the happiest (and strongest!) babies in the world.

Lindsey Carberry

Bridesmaid

Lindsey is by far one of the most down to earth and kind human beings that I have ever met. Lindsey and I met 3 1/2 years ago on a football field where our boyfriends were playing ultimate frisbee together. She is also the person who I credit for saving me from the chaos of ER nursing and to introducing me to the beautiful world of the NICU. Lindsey recently went back to school and obtained her Masters degree in Nursing and currently works in the same NICU with me. She went on to marry that ultimate frisbee boyfriend, Adam, with whom she has an adorable (and ridiculously smart!) son with.

Louise Acer

Bridesmaid

I first met this lovely lady a couple of years ago after she started dating Anthony’s twin brother, Andy. After only hearing anecdotes about her via Anthony f o r several months, I can tell you that she surpassed any and all ideas that I had about her after we finally met. In addition to her just being a genuinely kind and compassionate person, Louise is one of the most motivated and ambitious people that I have ever met. On a self described “easy day”, Louise will wake up at 5am, run a 50k with her wonderful mom, solve world hunger, and then will still have time to cook dinner with her husband. I am so excited that she is not just my friend, but that I will also get to call her family in just a few short months.

Victoria Wood

Bridesmaid

Victoria is pretty much one of the best human beings imaginable. We first met a couple of years ago when she was assigned to precept me to the NICU. After our first shift together, where we discovered that we had identical senses of humor and waaaay too much in common, I knew that she was someone I wanted to be friend’s with. Since then I have discovered that not only is she an incredibly intelligent person (now in grad school for her FNP), but that she is also has a heart of gold. Whether it’s randomly bringing a donut in to work for me or meeting up at a bookstore to buy more books that we don’t need, Victoria continues baffle me with her kindness and I feel so lucky to call her a friend. She currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband, Isaiah, and their two cats, Spooky and Ash.

Andrew Acer

Best Man

My best friend and best man. Andy has been my gaming partner for my whole life. We talk every week and he's one of the best listeners I've ever met. He helps me with my taxes every year willingly and it's hard to top that. He took two weeks to to visit Japan with me, a country he'd already been to, to help me fulfill a lifelong dream. My role model and inspiration in being a good person.

Matt Acer

Groomsman

Matt has been a constant mentor, wisdom giver, and opportunity provider throughout my life. He both drove and flew me back to Clarkson while I was in school, bought me flights so that I could ski with him and Andy in Austria, and most importantly introduced me to Phoenix helping me make my way to a different coast. One of my favorite climbing partners and board game players. One of the hardest working and busiest people I've ever met, but always makes time to visit.

Ryan May

Groomsman

Ryan and I met in 2003 at Clarkson University, through High Dive. He's kept me under his wing ever since then and helped me grow and be better as a person. We've developed a deep respect for each other, but no two people are better at insulting each other at video games. The shelves he made for me hold some of my favorite books and the frame he made some of my favorite photos.

Mark Borger

Groomsman

I met Mark through the Phoenix ultimate community and he's one of the most thoughtful and considerate friends I've ever made. He's introduced me to some of my favorite hobbies and more importantly helped teach me how to have adult conversations with the people who are most important to me. He's mature beyond his years and has helped me grow up since we met.

David Rose

Groomsman

I met Dave during my early days at PayPal. Over the past ten years what started as a social association has grown into a fast friendship. Dave is my muse and we've written dozens of letters to each other since his move back to Omaha. He introduced me to fountain pens and deals with my cursed cursive. He's one of the few people in my life not afraid to call me out and keep it real, while always being in my corner.
