If your significant other, plus one, or child is listed on the invite, you are welcome to bring them. Otherwise, reach out to Matt or Kate if you want to bring someone not listed.
Seattle-Tacoma airport (Sea-Tac) is the closest airport to Olympia, and a 60 minute drive to and from depending on traffic. We highly recommend guests rent a car from the airport for the weekend, or coordinate with family/friends to share! There are many options for hotels and Airbnbs in the Olympia and surrounding areas. In the "Travel" section, we list a few hotels with discount codes. We do not plan to reserve blocks of rooms to keep things flexible!
Dressy-casual attire. No jeans please. Girls: Sundresses, skirts, jumpsuits, maxi dresses. Flats, sandals or low, chunky heels. Avoid shoes difficult to walk in grass. Guys: Button-downs, polos, slacks, khakis. Ties, suits, coat jackets are optional.
Please arrive between 4:30 and 4:45pm.
The venue space will be fully outdoors. Anticipate warm temperatures and walking on grass. The Farmer's Almanac anticipates highs of 85 degrees and lows of 55 degrees with low humidity and low chance of rain. Large outdoor tents will be rented in case there is a chance of rain. The property has lots of areas to explore. There will be fun yard games, a donkey for Tom to feed, a tree house and gardens to explore, and plenty of on-site parking.
There is a large grass parking lot next to the venue space, with capacity for up to 200+ guests. Cars can be parked and left overnight with options to Uber home.
On your RSVP, there will be an option to list any dietary restrictions or allergies. For the welcome dinner, we are serving BBQ appetizers. For the wedding, we are serving an assortment of seafood appetizers, catered BBQ buffet-style dinner, and ice cream for dessert.
Reach out to Matt or Kate!
