We encourage everyone to take safety precautions as they feel is necessary. In an effort to address health and safety guidelines, we have invited a smaller number of guests, are having a plated dinner, have an outdoor and indoor reception space, and will be keeping track of guidelines set by the CDC and state and local governments regarding safety precautions. If anything happens that changes the setup, timing, location, or date of the wedding, we will contact you. As it currently stands in our county, all people regardless of vaccination status must wear a mask while indoors. Please plan accordingly and bring a mask to wear while in the church or at the reception (except when eating). Also note: Our reception venue revamped their entire air filtration system using UV light to kill particles of Covid-19 and other viruses, and to filter air upwards towards the ceiling rather than down towards the ground.
The dress code is semi formal
Our intention is to provide food that is gluten free across the board. We will also have a vegetarian option for dinner. If you have another specific need or food allergy, please indicate it in your invitation or communicate it to us separately.
The ceremony will be indoors (currently there is also outdoor seating. I will update this answer if that changes). The reception will have both indoors and outdoor spaces with the dinner taking place inside.
After the ceremony at Church of the Nativity, you will need to arrange to drive or be transported to either the reception location or the hotel near the reception location. From there you will have the option to use a Lyft code provided by us (more information to follow) to transport yourself to the reception venue or from the reception to the hotel.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking family photos. There will be some time between the ceremony and reception for you to drive to the hotel or to Round Hill Country Club. You can take your time to drive to the reception or relax at the hotel until the cocktail hour at Round Hill. The reception begins at 5:00pm, at which time drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
We recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and events can be started as scheduled!
For the ceremony, the church parking lot has ample parking spaces for the wedding. At Round Hill Country Club there will be an optional valet service. If you wish to leave your car at the hotel, we will be providing Uber codes to guests (more information on that soon) so you can arrive safely to and from the reception.
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Yes! Please visit the 'travel' tab on this website to find more information in how to book a hotel room close to the reception venue.
Please RSVP by September 1st. You can choose to RSVP on this site or send back the postcard on your wedding invitation to us marking whether you will be attending or not, and your meal preference.
At 5:00pm drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served, followed by dinner and dessert.
Please leave the centerpieces and decorations, as some are rented and will need to be returned.
Yes! Please feel free to take pictures during the reception (share them with us too!). We do ask that cell phones be off and put away during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer and videographer, and want to let them work their magic!
As per current county guidelines, all guests are currently required to wear masks indoors unless they are eating.
