Christopher and M’Kayla’s story began on October 8, 2023, with a first date at Capital Grille in Fort Worth, Texas. What started as a simple dinner quickly became the beginning of something special. Little did Christopher know, he was signing up for a lifetime of wining, dining, and making memories together. After a seemingly perfect first date, the two met again at The Puttery, where they spent the evening getting to know each other better—though Christopher’s competitive streak and love for golf may have stolen a bit of the spotlight. From that point on, they were inseparable. A few months later, while celebrating his birthday with close friends and M’Kayla, Christopher officially asked M’Kayla to be his girlfriend after quite a few celebratory drinks… While that wasn’t quite their official anniversary, the couple made it official one week later on December 10, 2023. Over the next two years, Christopher and M’Kayla blended their lives and started building memories together. Through time, the two have grown to love many of each other’s hobbies: going to the gym together, playing board games, watching One Tree Hill, golfing, and now coaching volleyball together. As the end of 2025 approached, M’Kayla was hoping for a proposal soon. On December 13, 2025, Christopher made it happen, carefully planning the perfect surprise with the help of M’Kayla’s parents, her brother, and her best friends, Maddie and Hunter. After she said “yes,” the celebration continued with a surprise Italian dinner (M’Kayla’s favorite) surrounded by both of their families. To end the weekend, a few other best friends of M’Kayla’s surprised her with an intimate engagement party upon returning to Fort Worth the next day. December has become a month filled with some of their most cherished memories—the month they made their relationship official, the month they got engaged, and soon, the month they begin their next chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the rest of our lives with you on December 11, 2026!
