Maid of Honor
Natalie isn't just my sister but she is also the "BFOTB" (Best Friend of the Bride for all you non-Gilmore Girls fans)! Despite 8 years separating us, we have always been mistaken for twins as we were inseparable from the day I was born whether it be grabbing a coffee together, watching You've Got Mail for the 400th time, or just gabbing away. I am the luckiest little sister to have a big sister who loves me so!
Best Man
From rides to school in the Geo Prizm to roommates in Florida, I have enjoyed a close relationship with my brother. I would not know half of what I know about computers without David, and I certainly would not have grown into the person I am today.
Bridesmaid
The first thing I noticed about Emma Caroline was her amazing braid game! The rest is herstory. Emma Caroline is like the little sister I never had. Both of our childhoods set in the south and full of dance classes. She is my double-named sister from another mister! My Epcot (EC) to my Magic Kingdom (MK). It’s never not a fun time when she’s around!
Groomsman
Since that fateful, early morning at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad all those years ago, Dainan and I have been close friends. Be it in a Scream Squad or just as "bro friends," I have traveled to more theme parks than I ever thought I would thanks to him. Our friendship was built on a love for theme parks and roller coasters, and grown into so much more. I once said to him that I rarely stayed in touch with friends, but here we are more than 10 years later!
Bridesman
I fell hard for Josh when I heard him hyping up his fellow Cast Members, encouraging them to advocate for themselves. Then I realized he was a Libra and it just all made sense. At the beginning he was skeptical of us ever hanging out, let alone being a Bridesman in my wedding! We have seen Taylor Swift live in concert, chaotically travelled to St. Pete, and have had many incredible double dates (love you Jordan). I am glad our friendship blossomed!
Groomsman
Christian started out as the boyfriend of a great friend and coworker, Paige, to whom I must always give credit for bringing him into my life. Now he is Paige's husband, a wonderful father, and still one of my closest confidants. I am not sure how I would have survived the summer of 2018 without his clever wit, constant support, and loving energy.
Bridesmaid
Biff, or Biff-er-oni as she is lovingly called in my phone, is one of the coolest people I have ever met although she would strongly disagree. She is, however, incorrect. We survived The Great War together (aka scoring tickets to Taylor Swift for all you non-Swifties), spent hours at work supporting each other, and I know whenever I need something she will be there to support me no matter what.
Groomsman
The primary teacher for the majority of my education on all things gentlemanly, Rob is my favorite golf partner. I never expected golf to become such a big part of my life, but I have him to thank for my ability to hold my own on the course with my soon to be father-in-law. The life of the party and an awesome cousin, I am proud to call him a part of the family.
Mother of the Bride
My mother was born to be a mother. Never have I met a more giving, loving, and kind individual. My mother didn't just give me life, she gave me a rare and fulfilling education too. I am who I am because of her. I owe her so much, including, but not limited to, my obsessive personality, my love of crystals, incense, and astrology, and my compassionate/empathetic nature. Thanks, momma for teaching me everyday <3
Mother of the Groom
An unflinchingly supportive parent for all the phases of my life, my mother has always encouraged me to be whatever I wanted. I never felt the pressure to be anyone besides my own unique self. Know that I am never embarrassed when you talk about my life to friends and family, and that I only hope to continue to make you proud of the kindness and light-heartedness I learned from you!
Father of the Bride
One of my favorite things about my father is that he never calls me by my name. Instead I am showered with bizarre but endearing nicknames (ie Monkey, Smunk, Schmunk, Schmunky, etc). My daddy has taught me so much: the importance of work, career, money, and above all (arguably the most important) how magical Disney is. It is because of him that I even met Matthew as I would have never even applied to work at Walt Disney World if it were not for him bringing us there year after year. I love my daddy!
Father of the Groom
If my mother is the encouragement, then my father is the brains to make my dreams happen. Not many people can say their father was also at one time their college advisor. He is the reason that, to this day, I cannot start using a new device or household appliance without thoroughly reading the instructions, much to MK's annoyance. His attention to detail and thorough analysis of a given problem may have been the butt of jokes growing up, but I find myself benefitting from those skills everyday.
Officiant
Matt Hindman can speak on just about anything for hours at a time. Who better to officiate our wedding than this brilliant conversationalist? But Matt is not only our star officiant, he is also the husband to MK's wonderful sister, Natalie. Both of them have given us so much including our dazzling engagement photos and stunningly designed Save-The-Date. We are so thankful for their love and contributions to our relationship. Including allowing MK to bring another Matthew into the family ;)
