Mary Ashleigh and Jacob met at a high school graduation party but their story begins in the first grade. The Bride’s mom taught the groom in the first grade. There are also photos of the bride and groom together at prior parties in high school. Since they started dating in 2017 they went through 4 years of long distance while they were in college. And then another two years where they were finally in the same city. This all led up to the proposal in October of 2023. Jacob planed everything perfectly for a trip to an apple orchard in the mountains. Halfway through picking apples, when he knew it was just the two of them, he got down on one knee and popped the question! Now we are all waiting in anticipation for November 1, 2024!
