We met the year of 1998 at West Charlotte High school in Charlotte, NC. She was an upperclassman and I was a year younger than her, I just had a way of hanging out with the upperclassman. I started to call her "Big sis" and she immediately took me under her wing as her "little sis". As our high school days were coming to an end, Roni left me and went far away to college. We had a kindred connection that grew deeper into a sister-friend, and to watch our friendship grew 20+ years, I am truly blessed to have you by my side!

Lil bruh man how time flies. I was amongst one of the first people to witness you opening your eyes after being born. Growing up and being the middle child I had someone to boss around, and follow my lead. Now that we are grown you have changed not just being my younger brother but into a leading man and my friend. You inspire me in more ways that I can not try to explain. When I told you I was getting married, you told me "bruh I am so happy and I know mom and dad are looking down upon us all".

"Light skin" version of me that is how people would always refer you as my sister. I remember the days in high school when I started driving and you would always make me late for school lol. I left you a couple of times and boy did you learn your lesson. Two years apart in age so we have always been very close and shared so many secrets together. Your heart is so pure and you're always in the background rooting me on. Now that I'm taking this new phase in life I pray that I continue to be a great example to you and lil sis Tracey. Thank you for standing by my side and accepting Marcus as your brother!

Cortez my brother from another mother. Me and you were raised together in separate homes but it always felt like we were in one. Our bond was tied closer than ever based upon the bond and relationship we shared with MaSis (grandmother). We have had in depth conversations, laughed till tears came running down our face, faced hard trials together, shared good times together but most of all you have always been by my side. I consider you my big brother!

Baby sis geesh I've known you all my life lol. Just to be able to watch you grow into an intelligent woman and there is so much in store for you. We fight, we love on each other, we fight some more, we love on each other more. I think what's great about our relationship is our intuition we always pick up on each other from afar and it's always at the right time when it's needed. Yes honey Blood made us related but I could not ask for a better person to call my sister. As I take this next step in life and I am blessed that I will have you by my side to walk me through every step of the way. Insert Sister Sister song which is our jam to this day. I may be changing my last name but I will forever be your Big Sister!

"Gump" my brother. Dog in your voice" we have been together since babies and we shared our first through everything, from playing coon dogs in the woods lol". I remember us riding out in the Mac Dog and you said "this is our life right here Dog". Words can't describe the relationship we have. Everyday we talk on the phone, if it's not about how are day went then we talk about how life is going. I appreciate you just being there for me throughout life and I'm glad you will share this momentous day with us. P.S. I'm just glad to call you a friend and to say you are in my corner DOG.

So it was spring picture day at school and Aumi was taking pictures with her cousin and they even dressed alike, how swag lol. So I walked up to Aumi and told her I know you are going to give me one of your pictures. She looked at me weird but gave me a picture. I made her become my friend. We have been friends 20+ and counting and I am blessed to have you by my side.

You staying 2 houses down made you a staple in my life and now I consider you not only a brother but a religious figure in my life. I transferred to ASU in 2003 and didn't know many people. I met Crystal in 2004 through a mutual friend and that was the same year she was graduating. After Crystal graduated we stayed in touch and our friend grew closer through the years. Our friendship became so vital where we didn't realize how much we needed each other. She became my Caribbean sister, my prayer partner, dancing partner, creative designer, travel bae, and so much more. You have always keep it real and you are my ride or die partner for life! After telling you I was getting married I received some of the greatest advice. For that I thank you for not just telling me but leading by your actions. We were both in 6th grade but attended different schools but became friends through our parents. I remember the first day we came to your house and our parents said "go entertain yourselves" lol. So Aghie asked can you dance and we danced all night to reggae. The best news I heard is when you would be attending West Charlotte High school man we were so excited and find out you guys moved closer. My sista from another mother, the life of the party and we always no how to create our own fun. I already know when that beat drops at the reception it will be on and popping. After talking to you and telling you I was getting married I can remember you telling me "it takes work but love will prevail".

It was freshman year of college at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC we were both in the same math class. We introduced our selves to each other and immediately hit it off. Unfortunately I transferred my sophomore year but we still kept in touch. As life has gotten us busy where we don't talk often but when we do we don't miss a beat. We promised each other we would be in each other's wedding now it's her turn to stand by my side. A friendship of 20+ years and a lifetime to go!

In gym class where I sat at the top of the bleachers and there was this young girl who was not too far away from me. We became inseparable we ended up having alot of classes together and we were ying yang to the hip. My BFF,sister from another mother, prayer partner, secret holder and so much more.
