We met in college in a Christian ministry, Chi Alpha. A mutual friend became our mediator and nudged us to be more than friends. We took it slow and prayerfully considered a relationship. When we had our answer, we entered into a relationship and the rest is history!

We have a special spot at a park in Sidney, OH where we enjoy the scenery and picnic together. We took food there and ate. James made brownies and labeled them as his special Brown Knee recipe. Inside a box in the center of the brownies was the ring. He got on his knee and asked me to marry him. It was a sweet day and moment, and the brownies only made the moment sweeter.
