What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

As we are having a Catholic Mass, the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you are seated by 3:45 PM. Please keep in mind that St. John's is located in downtown Indianapolis, so allow yourself enough time to find parking.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. John the Evangelist and Crowne Plaza Union Station are just a short, four-minute walk from one another, making it easy to travel between the ceremony and reception. There are several convenient parking options available nearby: * Valet parking is available at Crowne Plaza. * Union Station Parking Garage is about a six-minute walk to St. John’s and a two-minute walk to Union Station. * Plaza Park Garage is located right next to St. John the Evangelist and about a five-minute walk to Union Station. * Street parking is also available throughout downtown Indianapolis.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is a formal, black‑tie optional affair. In addition, we kindly ask guests to wear the color black. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone all dressed up! Ladies: Black formal evening gowns, floor-length dress, or elegant formal attire. Gentlemen: Formal black suits with a tie or bow tie or black tuxedos .

While we love your little ones, we've decided to have an adults-only celebration. Come celebrate with us and enjoy your night off!

To ensure an intimate celebration, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
