We met volunteering for Junior Council, a non-profit benefiting Lurie Children's Hospital. After a year of friendship, we realized we wanted to be more than simply friends — and the rest is history.

Omar surprised MJ with a trip to Iceland where he got down on one knee at Nauthúsagil waterfall, a magical ravine straight out of a storybook.

We'll tie the knot on August 10, 2024 at Union Station in Chicago, Illinois. The historic train station is a not-so-subtle nod to our shared love of travel. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
