Flight

✈️ Travel to Kauai

Guests can fly into Lihue Airport (LIH), which is about a 25-minute drive from the Poipu/Koloa area. Direct flights are available from many major cities, and others may require a quick connection through Honolulu.

Rental Car

🚗 Getting Around

We highly recommend renting a car from Lihue Airport while visiting Kauai as Kauai is not very rideshare-friendly and you’ll want flexibility to explore the island. Even if you stay outside of Poipu/Koloa, a rental car should make everything very manageable.

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa

We’ll be staying at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, but please feel free to book accommodations that best fit your preferences (see below). Because of our smaller guest size, we were unable to secure a formal hotel room block. Guests are welcome to choose accommodations that best suit their travel style and budget. 📍 Recommended Area For convenience, we recommend staying in: • Poipu • Koloa area

Travel Note

Transportation

We will be providing complimentary transportation to and from The Beach House for our guests on our wedding day. A trolley will pick up guests in front of the Grand Hyatt Kauai at 3:45pm and transport everyone to the ceremony venue for 4:00pm. At the end of the evening, the trolley will return guests to the Grand Hyatt Kauai at approximately 9:15pm. We recommend arriving a few minutes early for pickup so we can stay on schedule. For guests who choose not to take the trolley from our hotel, valet and self-parking will be available at The Beach House. *Please note that the trolley will depart promptly at the scheduled time.
