What is the date, time and location of the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Legare Waring House in Charleston, South Carolina. The venue is a 15-minute drive from downtown Charleston. Wedding Schedule: Ceremony: 5:00-5:30pm Cocktail Hour: 5:30-6:30pm Reception: 6:30-11:00pm

We have sent out formal invitations. Please submit your RSVP on our website by April 22, 2025.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire is recommended, and we encourage you to wear breathable clothing that you feel most comfortable in. Charleston in June typically has temperatures in the mid-80s, and our entire wedding night will be outdoors. Here are some recommendations: Women: Cocktail dresses in bright colors and lightweight fabrics. Men: Light suit jackets or short-sleeve polos/shirts with dress pants.

When should I arrive in Charleston and when should I plan to leave?

Our wedding will be hosted on the evening of Friday, June 27, 2025. We expect most guests will arrive on Thursday evening or early Friday morning and depart on Sunday. We highly recommend extending your stay to enjoy Charleston. We’ll also be hosting a Beach day on Saturday, June 28, for those who can join us!
Question
Will transportation be provided for the wedding?
Answer
We will be sharing a rideshare code for transportation the evening of the wedding. This code will be provided to each couple via email the week prior to the wedding. Enter 'Legare Waring House' into Uber/Lyft drop off location, and they should drop you right in front of the house. Please instruct your driver to follow event signs upon entering the gates. Rideshare drop off is near the Avenue of Oaks where the ceremony will be held.
