We'd love to see everybody dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal attire. A cocktail dress is also fine! Please see our color scheme at the top of this FAQ page! Our theme is 'Golden Hour in the Autumn Forest'. This means earth colors like light and dark brown, cognac brown, army green, forest green, sage green, olive green, terracotta, amber, copper, ocher and gold. Colours we don't allow: white, off white, beige, red, blue, pink, purple and any shades close to these colors. We'd appreciate you not wearing black where you can. However, we will allow black trousers and a theme colored shirt/top as a last resort. Clothing we don't allow: casual outfits and jeans, sweaters, crop tops, t-shirts, crocs etc. I think you get the idea =D

We would be very grateful for contributions towards our honeymoon. Your financial support means the world to us! Please do not bring any flowers or plants. Please do not bring flowers (we have playful cats) or bottles of wine (we only drink outside the house)

We request that people arrive latest 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. So between 13.30 and 13.45. Please check the "schedule" part of our website to see the day planning.

Answer

Paviljoen Puur has a car parking space for up to 20 vehicles, so those wanting to rent a car or those who already have a vehical can bring their car to the location.

Is the wedding inside or outside?Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

It will be a combination. The ceremony, dinner and party will be indoor based, however the venue itself has a wide range of outdoor areas. Make sure you bring a matching scarf or formal coat with you in case it is a bit cold during the toast and reception. Inside the kas it will be warm.

We kindly request not to post anything wedding related online until we have posted our content online. We do not know when we will be publishing, but please be patient. Once you see our content is online, feel free to post as much as you like. And please do not forget to tag us in it!

Yes, we will have a Dutch bar, meaning you will have beer, wine and soft drinks on us. More information later on spirits.

Once the ceremony has started, you can't enter. You will have to wait untill the reception starts.

Weather in October is always a gamble. So expect the temparature to be cold, with the possibility of rain. The majority of the wedding will be indoors, however please bring warm formal clothing with you like a pretty scarf or a formal (trench)coat.

Our wedding is smoking free, however outside the entrance there will be a smoking area people can go to. And even though its Amsterdam, absolutely no smoking weed!

For you ladies in heels, bring some flat shoes with you in case your feet become sore.

We recommend you bring ear protection with you if you are sensitive to loud music.

This wedding is for adults (with the exception of teenagers of immediate family who are part of our wedding party)

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

When you fill in your attendace, you can fill in your allergy/dietary restrictions

When should I RSVP?When should I RSVP?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is September 1st 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.
