We're Getting Married!

Jacob and Miya's journey began on Easter Sunday in 2023. When Miya noticed Jacob on stage. She couldn't help but lean over to her mom and say, "Who's that, he’s cute?" Little did she know that this moment was the start of something extraordinary. A few months later, on June 11th, 2023, Jacob and Miya finally met, and it felt like a blessing from above. Ever since that day, they've been inseparable. One memorable night, as Jacob was leaving Miya's house, they talked about their future together. Just as they were saying goodbye, a shooting star streaked across the sky—a sign, perhaps, of things to come. A year later, on August 11th, 2024, Jacob planned the perfect proposal. They drove up to Asheville and after a lovely dinner, Jacob took Miya to Tanbark Ridge overlook. Under the night sky, Jacob asked Miya to marry him. As if scripted by the heavens, they ended the night watching a meteor shower, just like the shooting star they saw when they first talked about marriage. Their journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments and beautiful surprises. They truly believe that Jesus brought them together, and they can't wait to see what the future holds.
