Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed to impress! Please honor our wishes and arrive in formal or Black tie attire: floor-length dresses, tuxedos, or suit and tie. We also ask guests to wear black or silver. Below is a link describing what constitutes Formal or Black tie optional attire: https://www.trulyengaging.com/blog/understanding-wedding-dress-codes

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved for our guests at The Elm! For more details and to book, please visit the accommodation page on our website.

Question

When should I Rsvp by?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to Rsvp by September 6, 2025. This allows us to finalize our plans and ensure everyone is comfortably accommodated. Please note: If you do not RSVP by the deadline, we will not be able to accommodate you at the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No, all allotted plus ones will be included and will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love children, we’ve decided to keep the guest list smaller for our special day. If they’re under the age of 5, we kindly ask that they stay with a sitter for the event. When you RSVP, your child’s name will also appear on the list. If you are opting not to bring your child, please select 'no' next to their name when completing the RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I attend if I did not rsvp?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What if I rsvp but I'm no longer able to attend?

Answer

Please notify us asap.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will close at 3:45 pm. Please plan to arrive on time to ensure you are seated. Brighton Abbey is located about an hour from Dallas for those traveling from the area, so we encourage guests to leave early to avoid traffic. Once the ceremony begins, entry will not be permitted.

Question

Will there be an open bar or alcohol?

Answer

No, there won’t be alcohol served, but a variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for all to enjoy!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have a cash registry/honeymoon fund. You will find our registry under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, so please plan accordingly. These events will be followed by dinner and dancing indoors at the venue's reception space.
