Long story short, a mutual friend set us up. We hung out and it went really decent (inside joke). A few days later Ginna had a friend who was a photographer looking for a couple to shoot. She asked Aaron, and the rest is history.

Aaron proposed to Ginna down in Nashville, TN before going to see her true love, John Mayer, at a concert. He had it all planned out, he was going to propose on the rooftop of their hotel before their dinner plans. However, the world had other ideas. There was already a huge bachelorette party on the roof and the only quiet place was a gross looking corner. So he kept the ring stashed in his pocket. All thru the Uber ride, the dinner, up until they got back to the hotel to change. He quickly hid the ring box under some sheets while changing. Ginna went into the bathroom to get fixed up. After some time, Aaron asked, “are you almost ready, babe?” She replied with, “yup, I’ll be out in a minute!” So he quickly flipped on some lights, set up his phone to record, got down on one knee, and waited. She popped into the bedroom excited to show Aaron she was putting her hair up into braids as he has always told her he loved that hairstyle on her. But she still had her hair half up and the other half down. They laughed as he asked her to marry him, and of course, she said “yes!” Then they had a big hug, kiss, and a good laugh about how nothing was more them, than this.
