We recommend staying for lunch and getting the Guiness brown bread.
Howth is accessible via train (approx 20 mins from the city centre) and is definitely worth a visit! Have some seafood in one of the pubs overlooking the marina or visit one of Howth's many hidden beaches for a dip.
Get the train to Galway from Heuston Station in Dublin City Centre. Galway city is definitely worth the trip if your schedules allows! Galway has great night life, restaurants, and a vibrant arts scene. If you have time...take a trip out to Connemara too. www.irishrail.ie
Great choice of day tours available. Irish car rentals can be expensive in summer and Paddy Wagon is a great alternative if you want to see more of Ireland on your trip.
Easily the best seafood in Dublin! Get some small plates and people watch in Temple Bar. Another good seafood option is Sole Seafood &Grill on South William Street. Other great restaurants in the city centre include Rosa Madre, FX Buckley, Grano and Fade Street Social.
Bother Hubbard is a great brunch spot in Dublin. There are multiple locations, my favorite is Brother Hubbard North on Capel St. https://brotherhubbard.ie/ Other great spots are: Drury Buildings Bread 41 Two Pups, Near Guinness Storehouse Two Boys Brew
Cocktails: Bank on College Green/ Bar 1661/ Chelsea Drugstore Pubs: Whelans, Grogans, Toners, the Brazen Head and the Palace Bar are some good options. The Cobblestone in Smithfield is a good option if you want to experience an Irish trad night.
We really recommend trying some of Dublin's great coffee shops. Kaph, the Fumbally, Coffeeangel, Two boys brew and 3Fe are just a few options. You shouldn't need Starbucks - but we do have them.
There are Butlers cafe's all over Dublin. Get the hot chocolate and enjoy! Also, all drinks come with a delicious chocolate!
This is located a 5 min walk from our venue. The Powerscourt was named the 3rd Best Garden in the world by National Geographic.
