Denver Botanic Gardens
A quick Uber/Lyft ride away from downtown, the Denver Botanic Gardens are a great place to enjoy all things nature without leaving the city.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
You can't get much more iconic Colorado than this music venue and park. You can take in some music or an event, or just walk and hike around.
Union Station
A recently renovated and restored train station that is now a beautiful epicenter for visitors and locals alike. Grab a drink at Terminal Bar, a quick bite at one of the many restaurants, or just go take a walk around the station.
Denver Central Market
Denver Central Market is one of those big market places (as the name would suggest) that has a wide-range of food and drink options (poke, pasta, ice-cream, etc.) and has always been one of our favorite places to hang out in the city! The bar is great and so is the food!
Coors Field
Home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team, this stadium has a great rooftop bar while you're watching a game. You can get "rock pile" tickets to the baseball games starting at $8, and we highly recommend going to a game then out for dinner and night on the town in the surrounding "Lower Downtown" or "Lodo" neighborhood.
La Loma
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Denver! Be sure to try their margaritas and house-made tortillas.
River North Art District
RiNo is a neighborhood known for its street art, incredible restaurants, and ever-changing landscape. It's a warehouse district that has something new popping up every day - it's definitely worth checking out!
Denver Breweries!
Denver is the craft beer capital of the US! If you like beer, there are ENDLESS breweries in and around downtown to check out. We love Denver Beer Co, Epic Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Company, Blue Moon Brewing Company and Ratio Beerworks!
Garden of the Gods
If you're looking for an easy day trip and getting out in nature without having to break a sweat - look no further. Garden of the Gods is 1 hours 15 minutes out of Denver, located in the city of Colorado Springs. You can tour the beautiful red rock formations either by walking or from your car.
Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station
Surreal, walk-through art experience with many interactive rooms, bizarre sculptures & a story arc. Think Alice in Wonderland immersive art experience! 2-3 hours.
City Park and Denver Zoo
Our favorite green space in Denver. The park contains the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Ferril and Duck Lakes, and a boathouse. It also features free jazz concerts every Sunday in the Summer!
Dinosaur Ridge
Dinosaur Ridge is a National Natural Landmark just outside suburban Denver. You can find it near the town of Morrison and just west of Denver. The Dinosaur Ridge area is one of the world's most famous dinosaur fossil localities, where you can walk around and see fossils still in the ground and rock!
Rocky Mountain National Park
One of Colorado's most beautiful places, and can be done in one long day trip or an overnight trip from Denver! Enjoy stunning views, only 1.5 hours out of Denver.
Pearl Street in Boulder
It’s hard to imagine a visit to the Boulder area that doesn’t include at least one stop at Pearl Street Mall, the city’s hub for dining, arts, and shopping. Make sure to stop by Avery Brewing Co in Boulder, one of our favorite places to stop for lunch and of course, beer!

Full of history and character, Breckenridge shares an incredibly laid-back charm that makes you feel like a local – no matter the season. Take a stroll down historic Main Street and feel the vibrant spirit of eclectic boutiques and après-ski cheer, relax fireside in a cozy café or enjoy summer afternoons on one of the many sun-soaked patios and decks.
