I met this classy, but don't get it twisted "G" in 5th grade and we've been best friends and inseparable ever since. 5th grade y'all, almost 20 years ago. That is insane. We've been by each other's sides through so many different chapters of life. We played hard at recess (like extremely hard y'all), we made it through puberty and all its fun ups and downs, we continue to have our never ending hilarious yet life discovering phone conversations, we gained and lost friends, we checked the foolish boys that came along the way, and we continue to support and encourage each other through every major life accomplishment. I could literally go on and on, there are a million stories, but bottom line is I can't imagine celebrating this day without my sister, D-rec! -Mitra

My fellow hit the books hard, but don't miss an opportunity to turn up type of girl. I met my Cocoa in 7th grade where the few ethnic girls in the Gifted/Honors program bonded immediately. Her big humanitarian heart and "what's the move" personality drew me in from the get-go. I can't remember a time where I wasn't at her house or she wasn't at mine all through middle school and high school. Then, the real fun kicked in when we both attended the University of Georgia and by chance got placed in the same dingy dorm. I've seen her blossom into nothing less than I expected, an awesome attorney, wife, and mother. I was honored to be by Coke's side on her wedding day over 5 years ago and now she will be by mine! -Mitra

My Canadian Jamaican chocolate goodness. I've known this girl since 8th grade where we proudly established the "A clique" and gave everyone nicknames ending with the "aye" sound lol. This girl is the definition of considerate, oh and she always has all the tea. Some of my favorite memories were during driving lessons in high school (yes fellow high schoolers teaching fellow high schoolers to drive) and our epic New Orleans road trip. I've watched her mindset grow tremendously through high school and college to now. How many of your friends have hosted you and your significant other in their home in Abu Dhabi?? Raye is absolutely always there to support me when I need it and I am honored to have her by my side on this special day! -Mitra

One of the best friends I have gained since I have lived in the U.S. Our love for music is how we met and that was just the beginning of a long lasting friendship. With his charismatic personality, there's no way any one could talk to him and not become friends with him. We've shared a lot of experiences in just a few years of knowing each other. He really is one of the most kind, outgoing, and fun guys I know. -Arash
