Alicia has long shared the love of milkshakes and all things dessert with Shayna. Their friendship goes much deeper than a 3-tiered cake and began when she started dating Shayna's cousin, (groomsman) Corey. Today, Alicia is more like a sister.

Dawnie and Shayna met working at a toy train store while Shayna was in nursing school. While their love for toy trains never really existed or developed, their friendship certainly grew much larger than Hagrid's pumpkins.

Jen is Fred's sister and rapidly became a good friend of Shayna's upon their first meeting in London, UK. Jen's got the class and advice of a queen, the fun and laughs of a joker and more love and support than the contingents of infantry.

Jess was introduced to Shayna by means of Fred and one of the first to know about the engagement. She, along with her husband Drew, helped pull off the proposal surprise in Joshua Tree, CA. If it wasn't for her sneakiness, great acting skills and amusing sense of adventure, we may not be celebrating at all.

Aysha was one of Fred's students at UNLV but quickly became a close friend. Over the years, she's proved herself to be a tried and true friend to both of us with unconditional love and support! We are excited to have our human firecracker as a part of the wedding party.

Jennifer is Shayna's best friend from high-school and has always been there for love, support and a shoulder to cry on. Without Jennifer, Shayna wouldn't have made it this far in life. When these two are together, nothing else matters. Just kidding (sort of). They like to make Fred jealous. They're best friends.

Kelsee and Shayna met in nursing school in CA. The friendship was almost as instantaneous as Taylor Swift's next top hit. These two have been on quite the adventures and look forward to many, many more.

Shashana "Shonzi" was one of the first friends Shayna made after her move to the West coast and the first CA roommate of both Fred & Shayna. Within only a year's time, together they forced Fred to watch more Disney than he had experienced in his entire life.

Elise and Fred have known each other for quite some time. It wasn't until Elise came to visit LA that she met Shayna. These 3 toured every nook and cranny of the Wiltern Theater until Elise fell asleep on the same velvet couch that Elvis did.

Shonda & Shayna have known each other since elementary school (go FBI!) From cheerleading, to dodging boobie traps on the dirt bike, to choreographing our own dance to "My Heart Will Go On" and performing it in front of people (really happened) - we've always supported each other through thick and thin. Shon + Shayn club for life!

Drew is a life-long friend of Fred's and part of the engagement adventure all along! He even designed our invites! Full of love and unconditional support, their friendship has developed into more of a brotherhood than anything.

Corey is Shayna's honorary brother. While his profession is chefin' it up at Chateau Elan, he doubles as a personal bodyguard, fire starter and "old man" dance partner. Bon appetite!

Chad was one of the first people Fred med at college orientation. Initially, they weren’t too sure about each other but once they stopped taking themselves so seriously, they realized how much they had in common. Chad has continually been a shoulder to cry on as well as a close confidante for Fred.

John and Fred have the absolute craziest stories! Their recipes have certainly grown with their friendship in only the best ways possible. When John isn't tickling feet for a living, he can be found giving your muscles therapy, hiking with our goddogs or cooking some plant-based dish (extra cinnamon).

While working at Billy Reid, Fred and Griffin worked as a two-person powerhouse creative team. Even after each left their old jobs together, they continue to stay in touch, constantly sending each other Seinfeld, Nicholas Cage & John Mayer memes.

Of all the wedding party, Jeff has known Fred the longest. Jeff met Fred when he came to Christmas while dating Fred’s sister, Jen. For most of his life, Jeff has been like a father to Fred. He taught him to play sports and coached his teams as a kid. He has been not only family, but an amazing friend ever since they met.

Mason and Shayna met in middle school and immediately hit it off. Their relationship has always been full of fun: getting married in Spanish class (Wait. Do we need to divorce first?), hiding in the photo class dark room when school was being extra and jumping on the couch in the drama club dressing room. Olé!

In Fred’s first photography class, he met Alan Barton. Alan was incredibly sarcastic and immediately Fred knew they would become friends. Without Alan, Fred probably wouldn’t have continued to pursue photography!

The first time Fred and Sky met, Sky recanted amazing stories of traveling the world, his poetry and writing. Eventually, when Fred and John were evicted from their first apartment together, Sky offered his home to Fred so that he had a place to live. Sky’s willingness to help is endless!

While in middle school, Fred and JC met through skating. It wasn’t until their final year of high school that they became good friends. Together, along with their friends Nick and Jack, they formed a band and eventually moved to college together where they all lived in their first apartment.

Heath is the newest addition to the god-family and the only nephew of Shayna. He's a tough cookie and can accomplish any mission on his agenda, making him a great choice for a ring bearer.

Tristan and his twin brother, Leif, quickly built a nice little fort in Shayna's heart. He is the best soccer goalie on the field, the most defensive 4 square competitor and one of the most altruistic little guys ever. We know he'll be excellent trooper, guarding the rings that will symbolize our empire.

Co-fort-developer, Leif, has taught us most of the fun acronyms of the "in crowd". We appreciate you keeping us in the loop! With some of the fastest feet on the soccer field and some of the best dance moves (gotta see his Fortnite skills), we couldn't do this thing without including him in the first order guarding the rings that will symbolize the Mitchell empire.

Fred met Austin while in graduate school and they quickly became close friends. Bonding over fine art and music, Austin went on to become Fred’s teaching assistant his final year of school where they would sneak out of class for beer and tacos, regularly.
