Barbara and Mitchelo’s love story began in 2015 as a friendship that transcended distance. With Barbara in the United States and Mitchelo in the Dominican Republic, they built a deep and meaningful connection. Over time, their bond grew, leading Mitchelo to pursue Barbara in a more intimate way. However, Barbara had reservations—fearing heartbreak and the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Despite her hesitations, she took a leap of faith, and in 2019, they officially became a couple. Yet, the very fears she once had became a reality, and they eventually went their separate ways. Even through heartbreak, Barbara held onto the belief that “A heart that has loved once is forever open to love again.” In 2021, she opened her heart once more, and they rekindled their relationship. This time, despite the struggles they faced, their faith in Jesus strengthened day by day as they continued to walk in His plan. Barbara vividly remembers when Mitchelo told her, “You will be my wife. Pray about it. I will wait for you.” With unwavering faith, he believed in God’s will for their union. After much prayer, patience, persistence, and consistency, Mitchelo proposed on February 15, 2025. Now, Barbara and Mitchelo embark on a beautiful journey as husband and wife creating new memories, embracing new levels of happiness, and growing together in love and faith. They are overjoyed to celebrate this moment with their friends and family and cannot wait to see you on December 15th, 2025 in Great Neck, NY.

L’histoire d’amour de Barbara et Mitchelo a commencé en 2015 sous la forme d’une amitié qui a transcendé la distance. Avec Barbara aux États-Unis et Mitchelo en République dominicaine, ils ont noué une relation profonde et significative. Au fil du temps, leur lien s’est renforcé, poussant Mitchelo à poursuivre Barbara d’une manière plus intime. Cependant, Barbara avait des réserves, craignant le chagrin et les défis d’une relation à distance. Malgré ses hésitations, elle a fait un acte de foi et en 2019, ils sont officiellement devenus un couple. Pourtant, les craintes qu’elle avait autrefois sont devenues réalité et ils ont fini par se séparer. Malgré le chagrin, Barbara a gardé la conviction qu’« un cœur qui a aimé une fois est toujours ouvert à l’amour à nouveau ». En 2021, elle a ouverte son cœur une fois de plus et ils ont ravivé leur relation. Cette fois, malgré les difficultés auxquelles ils ont été confrontés, leur foi en Jésus s’est renforcée de jour en jour alors qu’ils continuaient à marcher dans son plan. Barbara se souvient très bien du moment où Mitchelo lui a dit : « Tu seras ma femme. Va et priez à ce sujet. Je vous attendrai. » Avec une foi inébranlable, il a cru en la volonté de Dieu pour leur union. Après beaucoup de prières, de patience, de persévérance et de cohérence, Mitchelo a fait sa demande en mariage le 15 février 2025. Aujourd'hui, Barbara et Mitchelo se lancent dans un magnifique voyage en tant que mari et femme : ils créent de nouveaux souvenirs, embrassent de nouveaux de bonheur et grandissent ensemble dans l'amour et la foi. Ils sont ravis de célébrer ce moment avec leurs amis et leur familles et ont hâte de vous voir le 15 décembre 2025 à Great Neck, NY.
