Matron of Honor
My longest friendship. At only 17 months apart, my sister and I have always been close. In proximity and relationship. She's the one who you can count on to remain loyal, remember random facts about you, and will try to make you laugh in any serious situation. She's become an amazing mom to the 2 BEST kids, and still makes time for her friends. I got to be Maid of Honor for her. Now, almost 5 years later, I get to have her as mine!
Best Man
Andrew and I were very different growing up– he was a creative movie-lover, while I was the mathlete and sports fanatic. However, as adults, our interests have merged in many ways. I’ve since discovered my own creative side, and I look to him for movie reviews as often as he shares Texas A&M football and F1 racing updates. I will always appreciate Andrew’s willingness to stand up for what’s right and his discernment for the things of God. Our friendship as brothers is just beginning and I’m honored to be celebrating with him.
Bridesmaid
There is no one you count on like Ravyn. From the day we met I was immediately drawn to her personality, strength, authenticity, and sense of humor like no other. We’ve really been through so much together and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I'm constantly inspired by her love for Jesus and for people, her honesty, resilience, and ability to make anyone smile :) I couldn't imagine this day without her.
Best Man
Ben and I have always been in very different seasons of life (I was 10 when he was born!), but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Now that he’s in high school, I see so much in him - his curiosity, discipline, and adventurous spirit – that I want to replicate more of in my own life. Ben will without a doubt be the fastest person at our wedding (challenge him to a race if you’re brave), and although I am a little bitter that he is already several inches taller than I will ever be, I am so blessed to have him joining me on this day.
Bridesmaid
Pastor Jaden - IRL Wonderwoman. I've never known anyone who works harder, has more determination, and does it ALL with the most positive attitude. She has been one of my best friends for over half my life, and this character limit will not let me share all the amazing qualities of Jaden. We've talked about our weddings for years and I'm so excited and honored to finally share this day with her. Someday the roles will be reversed.... Boys- she's single ;)
Groomsman
Daniel is the very definition of intentionality. We became friends when he persistently invited me to join a campus ministry, and then later to be one of his (six!) roommates. As roommates, we got up early each week for breakfast together, and we have continued to regularly share life together ever since. I will always admire how Daniel approaches life, love, and Jesus with the same intentionality and consistency that he first pursued me with. Our dads were in each other’s weddings, and after being in his wedding last year, I’m thrilled that we get to do the same!
Bridesmaid
Hannah and I first bonded at 11 and 13 years old when we found out we have the same birthday! If you know Hannah, you know what true friendship is. She is such a big part of the person I am today. Between 10 years of kids ministry together, pastor's kids shenanigans, joint birthday parties, missions trips, making youtube videos, and our older siblings getting married, the wonderful memories with Hannah are endless. Now I get add this day to that never-ending list!
Groomsman
Although he’ll always be Mouse to me (you’ll have to ask him about that one), Chandler and I bonded as we shared a 800 sq. ft basement apartment during a global pandemic. Aside from the hours spent doing Mario Kart tournaments and making taco dinners (with incredible salsa & guac) during that year, some of my favorite post-college memories have come from the cross-country MLB stadium road trips that we have taken together. Chandler is the most loyal, caring, and spontaneous person I’ve met, and I can’t wait to have him alongside me for this new chapter!
Bridesmaid
Logan and I instantly clicked as missionary roommates in *****stan. We've laughed, we've cried, and then laughed some more. Traveled the world together, made countless memories, and we understand each other's experiences unlike anyone else. Now, even 1100 miles apart, she's one of the relationships I value most. Of COURSE she's standing up there with me!
Groomsman
It was on a spring break missions trip to Texas that I met Scott, and we immediately realized we had the same sense of humor. This was the backbone of our friendship throughout the ups and downs of college life, and so many of my best memories from that season include Scott. Other than being the funniest guy you’ll ever meet, Scott is also an incredibly thoughtful and selfless friend who will be the first to help in any situation. He’s been there for each of my disc golf injuries and embarrassing college stories, and I’m stoked that he will now be a part of my wedding!
Bridesmaid
Starr is a STAR. She's incredibly thoughtful, caring, loyal, and will always find a way cheer you up when you're down. Our memories go from high school english class, to church VBS, bible studies, Harry Potter & puzzles nights, and then talking in the parking lot for another hour. I love my memories with Starr. I've known her forever, and I'm thankful that I get to have her with me on such an important day!
Groomsman
Charlie and I met and connected almost immediately as summer camp counselors. Being from Florida, he wasn’t ready for the Colorado snow, but luckily we spent most of our time in humid Missouri. As we spent a summer together, I learned that Charlie has a tangible passion for Jesus and a contagious authenticity. He’s made me a more courageous, genuine, and joyful person, and he’s walked with me through my most difficult moments. I’m so appreciative that our friendship has continued since that summer, and I’m so excited for him to be celebrating with me this fall!
Bridesmaid
The close friendship I have found in Joy is one of my favorite parts of these last few years. She and her husband, Brian, have become such a support system for both of us. Our double dates, game nights, and late night conversations are special to us. Joy truly is the epitome of JOY. The way she seeks after the Lord, loves her friends, and perseveres through every difficulty with grace are just a few of the ways she inspires me every day! Sharing this day with her was OBVIOUS.
Groomsman
There was a period in Emily and I’s relationship where I may have gone on more dates with her brother Ben than with her. While Emily was in ****stan, Ben and I spent many Sunday afternoons grabbing lunch together, and it was then that I came to see that Ben is a walking example of “don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young.” His boldness and maturity at just 17 is so apparent, and his heart for Jesus inspires me in many ways. I can’t wait to gain another brother, and it was an easy decision to have him standing up there with me on our big day!
