Please use the RSVP tab at the top of the page and let us know your plans right here on our website. We also encourage you to explore the rest our website to know what to expect for our wedding day.
Please RSVP by Saturday, July 18th. This is so we have ample time for final vendor confirmations and to ensure a smooth and enjoyable celebration for everyone. We appreciate your prompt response!
The ceremony is indoors, however the cocktail hour and reception held at Chapel Hill Carriage House will be outdoors with a covered space for dinner and dancing.
Based on historical data and seasonal patterns for the month of September, you can expect the highs to be in the 80's and the lows to be in the 60's, with the temperature dropping in the evening as the sun starts to go down and officially set around 7:30pm.
To help create a cohesive and elevated look for our celebration, we ask that guests dress in Garden Formal attire. Ladies: Think soft, early-fall colors. Dresses that are midi or floor-length—and colors that complement our palette such as lavender, blues, soft pinks, sage, charcoal, and navy—will photograph beautifully alongside our bridesmaids in wisteria chiffon and our wildflower-inspired florals. Gentlemen: Suits or dress slacks with a blazer in black, navy, charcoal, gray, or light earth tones work well for the season and setting.
There is plenty of parking at both the ceremony and reception sites. For the reception, look for the blue wagon wheel at the end of the long drive way and a parking attendant will help direct you to where to park in the gravel lot.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, pictures are welcome and if you would like to post them we encourage you to use our wedding hashtag #H&Kforever so we can see them, too.
After the ceremony, we will be taking family pictures in the church, guests are encouraged to mingle and enjoy the church gardens before heading over to Chapel Hill Carriage House (about 15 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing and yard games will be set up. Dinner will be served around 5 pm, with dancing to follow. Please refer to the schedule tab for more details regarding the day's events.
Yes, we have a hotel block set aside for our guests, please refer to the travel tab for more information on where to stay.
