Is there a dress code?

We’re celebrating our big day with a backyard wedding, and we’d love for everyone to dress in cocktail attire to keep things festive and cute. Since the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, we kindly suggest that ladies consider block heels or wedges to stay comfortable on the grass.

Can I bring a date?

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to space and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If a plus one is included, you’ll see their name listed, thank you for understanding!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle running from the recommended hotels in Mechanicsville to the wedding venue. The ride will take about 30 minutes, and since rideshare options like Uber are not available in the area, we highly recommend taking advantage of the shuttle for easy and reliable transportation.

To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, especially with alcohol being served and open water on the property, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.
