Brendan Nee

Best Man

Brendan and I have a unique relationship to say the least. Some say that the bond between identical twins is unlike any other, and I definitely agree with it. It is a rather unique experience to have someone who operates the same way as me and shares many formative experiences together. We have promised each other, and confirmed with our future wives, that one day we WILL get houses next to each other and build a pool across the middle. Somehow whenever we're together, our maturity level plummets, and it's always a blast. Yet at the same time, we push each other to be better men and deepen our faith, and I'm eternally grateful I got an incredible brother(a pretty good looking one too).

Micah Fowler

Groomsman

Micah is a loyal friend that has always sharpened me spiritually. As a fellow campus minister, we have built a close friendship over the years starting in college. Even before Micah became a Christian, he always brought an intensity and deep desire to give His best to God and do what's right. He consistently inspires me and encourages me to be at my best, especially in my bench press.

Chase Bush

Groomsman

Mr. Chase! Chase was the first guy I baptized at Wright State, and he has been an incredibly humble guy since the day we met in the gym. He has consistently had THE most pure heart for God, doing anything possible to seek Him. Even though we didn't really have a campus ministry at the time or many cool young people to hang around, his desire shown through, and we became incredibly close over my two years in Dayton. I love this dude deeply, and am so grateful to have him as a groomsman!

Michaela Nee

Groomswoman

Michaela, or more commonly referred to as Mickey boo boo, has been a blessing of a sister. To be honest, she low key bullied me when we were young kids, but building our friendship as adults has been an absolute joy, and I'm so grateful for her. She is a super servant, a loyal friend, and continuously makes me wonder where she gets all the love that is in her heart. I just had to break some social norms and have her in my party, there was no doing it without her.

Parsa Alipour

Groomsman

Parsa has been nothing but a positive addition to the Nee family, and even though I thought we would have scared him off with our general chaotic nature and borderline savagery, he has stuck it out and become a brother to me. He is kind, intentional, generous and legitimately the deepest thinker I know. I'm grateful to have him in my life now, and excited to keep him there for the future!

Grant Geyer

Groomsman

Grant and I were actually friends before Liv and I really got to know each other, and I'm glad our friendship goes outside of our new brother-in-law-ness. We met when I first came to Cincinnati in 2018, and he was in the teen ministry while I was in campus. We grew closer over the years, and more so once he joined the campus ministry, through lots of tasing, our favorite dare/card game called Tonk, and deep talks. Now he has become a dear friend and I'm excited for him to become my brother-in-law and be family for the good times to come!

Tyler Rahe

Groomsman

Tyler and I were freshman together in the Cincinnati campus ministry back in 2018, and even though we went to schools across town, he's always been a brother. We had our fair share of memories together- from jumping into the Ohio River on a random winter night just because we felt like it, or running a milk mile, or giving our hearts to the ministry and adventure along side God, it's all been a blast. Along the borderline foolish fun stuff, Tyler has been a consistent brother in the faith who has challenged me and inspired me to love God deeper and know Him more. I'm grateful for his friendship and so excited to see him get married to his bride in June!

Anna Geyer

Maid of Honor

My built in bestie. My ride or die. My one and only sister. From doing professional-level makeup for all my big life events, to helping me with a sorely outdated wardrobe. Anna is the best sister a girl could ask for. Over the years, no matter where we are in life, she has become a home and safe place for my heart. What I love about her is the heart she has for our family. Even though she's the younger sister, she has been an example to me in her maturity, sacrifice, and love. We've come so far Anna! I'm so proud of the woman you've become and blessed you're such a light in my life. Now that I'm the first to be married, I'm currently taking applications for a spiritual, loving, and preferably funny brother-in-law.

Serena Moore

Matron of Honor

Life long best friend falls short in describing what Serena means to me. This right here is my soul sister! I met Serena when I was 12, and our decade long friendship has been full of all that one could hope for in a rich, deep sisterhood. At 16, I told myself she’d be in my wedding one day. She's the kind of friend who knows me better than I know myself. Through all the ups and downs of life, she has stuck by my side. She is a woman of wisdom, patience and peace. Our three hour phone calls are pretty much free therapy sessions and this girl has comforted me through so many tears. She has taught me so much about the adventure of marriage. Serena, being your maid of honor four years ago was an immense privilege. Years later, there is no one else I would rather have standing beside me as my matron of honor.

Rose Bruns

Maid of Honor

When a girl dreams of who their best friend will be one day, they think of someone like Rose. Someone who, when they see you've been crying, can get you laughing in seconds by dancing in the middle of the room, to no music. Someone who organizes surprise parties for your birthday, or tells you politely to change your outfit for church because you look like an old lady. Or someone you travel the world with and see great cities like Boston and Paris. Rose is a woman of elegance, loyalty and wit. She never fails to bring laughter into the room, and ease everyone's spirits. Rose, thanks for being the best college roommate a girl could get for all four years. You have become another home for my heart and an amazing sister in Christ. You truly are the best friend of my dreams.

Olivia Triepke

Bridesmaid

With identical names, and very different spirits, Liv and I have danced through a decade long friendship. Our love for God and heart for his Kingdom has formed a firm relationship, not easily shaken. It has weathered the emotional tolls of middle school crushes, fighting like sisters then making up 5 minutes later, and helping each other to follow Jesus through high school when everyone else was chasing after other things. Liv embodies the definition of an artistic, faithful, and passionate person. Her love for travel and exploration has enriched my life and I'm blessed to have done so many memorable trips with her over the years. Liv, I'm glad God gave me a friend to live life to the fullest with. You're a treasure to me and your friendship makes me more like Christ.

Jasmin Diaz

Bridesmaid

Mi reina latinaaaa!! Jasmin and I met through our campus ministry when we were students at the Ohio State University. Jasmin is the literal definition of a bendición (blessing). She was the first person in my life that understood my passion of a Latina identity. Living with her my senior year, life was full of laughter, dancing, good food, and memories I wouldn't trade for anything. She has become a safe haven for me spiritually, emotionally and mentally. From cooking me plátanos late at night, or blaring "Ya lo sé que tú te vas" on the radio and singing like we just got divorced. To staying up till 2 am talking about how we'll live next to each other and raise our kids to speak Spanish. Jasmin, Dios te bendiga por tú fe, amor y devoción. Gracias por llenar un vacío en mi vida que mi corazón anhelaba. No estaría aquí hoy sin ti.

Asia Sledge

Bridesmaid

Just a short couple of years ago Asia and I were talking and wondering if we were ever going to find the right guy. God is funny. Little did we know, they were right around the corner. Asia and I navigated so many seasons of life together that it feels like God brought us together to have a partner through it all. Asia and I grew up together going to the same church in Columbus. We would sit together in Bible class and run around the playground after service. It's hard to believe that I stood in her wedding last September, and she'll be standing in mine this April. Asia, I wouldn't change a thing about my season of singleness if it was all to find you along the way. Thanks for being my soldier in the faith, my prayer partner, and safe friend. I'm so glad God directed our lives back to one another, to experience a life those two girls in kingdom kid class never would've dreamed of.

Valeria Carrión

Bridesmaid

In August 2023, Valeria started dating Brendan Nee. Both Brendan and I were blessed that day. He got a girlfriend, and I got a girl that could help me understand why my boyfriend was the way he was. If you would've told us that we would be brought together by dating identical Wasian twins and doing ministry in the US, we would've laughed and told you of our plans to help serve on the mission field in Uruguay. In a short amount of time, Valeria has become a fast friend and trusted advisor. She understands my relationship with Mitchell better than anyone. Mi hermana hermosa, thank you for being such a source of comfort and laughter and spiritual guidance. Creo que Dios sabía que nos necesitaríamos el uno al otro al estar casados con estos locos. Estoy emocionada a vivir tanto de la vida contigo. ¡Gracias por estar a mi lado como mi nueva hermana!
