Like all great millennial love stories, we connected through a dating app first. Mitch set up a date at a bar called Sportsman's Club in my neighborhood. We had all the fun & slightly awkward getting to know you convos, plus Mitch tried really hard to sell me on his new favorite TV show Mountain Monsters. I still haven't watched it. I recall it being a great date, despite having pulled my back prior and being pretty uncomfortable. Mitch recalls me having weird body language, which he read as disinterest. Clearly, he wasn't expecting the kiss I went in for because we met faces awkwardly and then he peeled out in his car in embarrassment. I thought for sure that scared him off, but he texted me when he got home to set up date two. Our next few dates got a lot less awkward and a lot more fun. By the third date at the Laugh Factory, we were both pretty sold on each other. Mitch loved that I ordered us a bucket of Miller. I loved that he just giggled and chugged when I tapped his bottle, making it foam. Since then, we have shared a few more buckets and a lot more laughs.
