Question

WHICH “The Thursday Club” in San Diego is the venue?

Answer

Please note there are TWO Thursday Clubs located in or near San Diego. Our venue is the one located on Santa Barbara Street near Mission Bay.

Where do we park at the venue?

Answer

There is street parking in front of the venue as well as directly across the street. If you cannot find parking in front, The Thursday Club is on it’s own block with street parking surrounding all sides.

Am I allowed to bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol. If anyone were to bring alcohol outside of what is already provided at the venue, the bride and groom will be charged a large fee per bottle/glass smuggled.

How do we get to the ceremony space if we are late?

Answer

If you are running late to the ceremony or getting a bit too close to start time, please enter the ceremony space from along the side street. You can see where that is on the map (see Day of Details tab). If you enter from the main entrance at the front of the venue during the ceremony you will be walking between the bride and groom. The bride and groom ask that guests arrive around 2:30pm for the ceremony to start at 3:00pm.

How do we enter the venue and get to the ceremony space if we are on time or early?

Answer

Please enter the venue through the main entrance; there will be a sign stating whose wedding is being held at the venue. Simply follow the path provided toward a patio with stairs leading into the Garden. Go down those stairs and you will find the ceremony space. If you or a member of your group needs an alternate route without stairs, please see the map on the Day of Details tab. If you are entering and find yourself confused please ask a member of staff to point you in the right direction. Don’t forget to sign the guest book at the front! :)

Are we allowed to wander the grass and garden after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to wander the property. The venue just asks there be no alcohol away from the building and patios.

Are children allowed to play on the grass areas of the venue?

Answer

Yes, children are encouraged to play on the grass if they choose to get their wiggles out. We only ask they do not pick the flowers or get into the fountains.

I missed the RSVP window and the extension. How do I still RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately you have missed the window to RSVP and have been marked as not attending. The window on this website has been shut down as of 20 December 2025 at 11:59pm.

Are there vegetarian or vegan food options available?

Answer

Yes, we made sure there will be safe options for our vegetarian and vegan guests. Please see the Day of Details tab for more information regarding food as well as marking any dietary needs on your RSVP.

Are there gluten free food options available?

Answer

Yes, we made sure there is at least one option for Cocktail Hour, One full meals worth of food at the Linner Buffet, and one Sweet Treat option available. Please see the Day of Details tab for more information regarding food as well as marking any dietary needs on your RSVP.

Will there be nuts served at any point?

Answer

No, we have planned a NUT FREE WEDDING. There will be no nuts in anything we have planned for the day. We want to make sure everything is as safe as we can possibly make it for all of our guests.

Who can I ask questions of on the Day of the Wedding?

Answer

Our Coordinator, Ionne, along with her two assistants can answer quick questions on the day of. Otherwise your questions might be answered with information available somewhere here on the website.
