We're getting married!

Once upon a time, Mitchell and Kelcey were both living in Florida - Mitchell in Sarasota and Kelcey in nearby Bradenton. Both were navigating the online dating scene when Mitchell stumbled-upon Kelcey's profile - reaching out by commenting on a picture of her and Drako. After a few texts, phone, and video calls, they planned their first date on November 5, 2022: sushi in Sarasota. Picture Kelcey running through a downpour to get to the restaurant where Mitchell was patiently waiting. *Cue more dates, experiences, and testing each other's humor* Eventually, a shared decision to leave Florida led them to Charleston, South Carolina. There, they spent their time combing the beaches for shark teeth, paddleboarding the rivers, and soaking in the charm of the low-country! A couple years later, they discovered Charleston wasn't quite the place they wanted to call home, which led them to Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh quickly felt like the home they had been searching for, and they’re excited to build their future there together. On September 8, 2025, Mitchell planned a romantic, homemade dinner in the back yard - complete with a beautiful sunset and proceeded to get down on one knee - asking Kelcey to marry him. It was the easiest "yes." We can't wait to see you all and celebrate with you all when we say "I do!"
