FAQs

Question

Can I bring snacks and alcohol on site?

Answer

If you are staying on site at Camp Elsewhere, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages, including alcohol, to your sleeping area. Please note that self-purchased alcohol is permitted in designated camping areas only and is not allowed in the reception hall, chapel, or dinner tent.

Question

Is our child allowed to join us?

Answer

We adore your kiddos and they are such a special part of our lives! However, because our venue is located right on the lake, it isn’t a safe environment for children. As much as we’d love to have them there, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. Think of it as the perfect excuse to book a babysitter and enjoy a fun, relaxing weekend getaway!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love for all RSVPs to be in by May 20th please!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to dress up and feel their best! Think along the lines of semi-formal/cocktail attire—dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women, and suits or dress pants with a nice shirt for men. No need for black tie or gowns, but we do kindly ask that you skip jeans and overly casual wear.

Question

Is transportation provided to and from the hotels?

Answer

No, transportation will not be available to and from the venue to the surrounding hotels, as we hope many of you choose to stay on site at camp elsewhere with us for the weekend! Please plan accordingly and drive safely if you choose to do so!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have chosen to keep our event as intimate as possible. If your invitation says "plus guest," then yes, if not we would prefer it is just you!
