What time should I arrive?
Answer
We ask that you arrive between 1:30-2 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 p.m. so please be seated by that time.

Does each venue have parking?
Answer
Yes, the church and the convention center have plenty of on-site, free parking!
Question
Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest friends and family. As we are limited on space, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Are children invited?
Answer
Yes, we have included children into our guest list. We ask that you read the invitation and join the wedding celebration with no more people than invited due to the limited space of our venue.

Are there accommodations for the children?
Answer
Of course! There will be a kids menu available for dinner and a room at the reception for them to color and play. Please keep an eye on your children throughout the day. We ask that you keep your children with you quietly for the ceremony and any special moments during the reception.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We do not have a dress code. If you are needing inspiration for attire, please consider summer colors and floral prints! We want our guests to be comfortable and ready to dance!

Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be inside.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment with us by leaving your cameras and silenced phones in your purse or pockets during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful team of photographers to capture all the details of the wedding. We plan to share those photos with you afterwards! After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away! We plan to have an app for your photos of the wedding to be immediately uploaded to as the reception continues!

Will transportation be available from the ceremony to the reception?
Answer
We will not be providing any transportation on the wedding day. We understand that there is a gap in time from when the ceremony ends and the reception begins. This allows for the wedding party and family to finish up photos and drive to Effingham also. In that time, you are invited to the reception venue for a cocktail hour. Don't forget to sign our guest book and enjoy some light snacks! The best routes for travel from the ceremony to the reception are either taking Route 45 or I-57.

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes, there will be a cash bar. However, the soda will have free refills!

What time does the reception end?
Answer
The reception will end at 10 p.m. The newlyweds will have a last dance and exit at that time.
