It is somewhat rare these days to hear of high school sweethearts tying the knot. Mitchell and I "met" on a school trip touring different colleges in Massachusetts. I say "met" because Mitchell and I had technically been going to school together since sixth grade. What stood out to me about Mitchell that day was how funny and witty he was. He made me laugh and I loved that. As we sat in a large classroom at Northeastern University, I remember distinctly sharing a quick look with each other. I could not help but feel like there was some sort of connection. A short two or three weeks later after multiple times of saying "Hi Hannah!" to me in the hallway at school, and me only responding quickly with a "Hi" or "Hey" as I continued to walk to my class, Mitchell finally found his opportunity to message me. On that particular day our entire school had spent the day in lockdown due to a bomb threat. That afternoon everyone at our school just had to write a Facebook post about it, including myself. He claims to this day to have the "best" pick up line of all, "Hey, did you hear there was a bomb threat at school today? ;)". We chatted a bit through Facebook before he asked for my number. I was quick to believe his excuse of "Facebook really drains my phone battery, can I have your number?". We went on a few dates before making it official and the rest is history! *NOTE* If you are looking at our site on a mobile device you will need to go to the menu to find the RSVP tab.
