Little Cottonwood Canyon
Impressive climbing on beautiful white granite! Sand-bagged boulders. A lovely creekside hike. 2 incredible ski resorts with hikes and views. No dogs allowed in either of the Cottonwood canyons.
Point of the Mountain
Paragliding flight park that is "always on". Bench up and take a flight over to Lone Peak or try your first tandem paragliding flight!
Big Cottonwood Canyon
Gorgeous multicolored canyon with numerous hikes. Semi-scary choss climbs. Lovely driving loop through Park City. No dogs are allowed in either of the Cottonwood Canyons.
Millcreek Canyon
More hikes, including a favorite up Grandeur Peak. Dog friendly.
Bell Canyon Waterfall
Yes. Another canyon. This one has a big waterfall. Excellent fall foliage. No dogs allowed in Bell Canyon.
Red Butte Garden
Stroll through the peaceful botanical garden.
Fifth Water Hot Springs Trail Start
Good for a half-day trip. 4.5 mile out and back hike leading to beautiful natural hot springs. We saw a mountain lion cornered into a tree by some redneck hunting dogs last time we went. May be best to do before or after the wedding weekend as it is a bit out of the way.
Hot Tub Place
Our favorite date night. We like to go to the original KFC across the street first then go get a 20 minute soak in an indoor rental hot tub. Totally clean place.
Desolation Lake/Dog Lake
THE mountain bike trail or hike for aspen viewing. Excellent views. Combine with Dog lake for an extra mile or so. Despite the name, no dogs are allowed on this trail.
