Early in 2023 Mitchell messaged Haily on Instagram as her beauty and biblical posts caught his eye. What was birthed in optimism quickly turned to rejection, but this didn’t dissuade Mitchell’s pursuit of his bride; though they did go onto their own paths for a time. After much toil and effort by Mitchell’s relentless pursuit, they were brought back together in agreeance on March 22nd, 2024 for their first date at Henry Horton State Park (where Mitchell would propose to her 6 months later). They hiked and spoke deeply on this day and Mitchell impressed her by carrying her across the flowing river, almost slipping on rocks, to ensure that Haily got to the other side unscathed and dry. He succeeded and that success has continued to this day, not without a mid-summer speed bump in the relationship but it was a growing experience for them both, and now here we are, approaching the beginnings of their marriage covenant that is designed to reflect the Church’s relationship with Christ. As each day passes, Mitchell and Haily’s love grows all the more. With growth comes growing pains, but nothing can stand against what God has brought together. Much like God created Eve for Adam, so He created Haily for Mitchell. They will soon be pursuing the LORD as husband and wife. What He brought together on March 22nd, 2024 will be solidified on the day of our official Holy Matrimony before God and state on December 7th, 2024 the year of our Lord.
