What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Black-Tie Optional. We encourage guests to wear formal attire, such as evening gowns or tuxedos, but feel free to wear a nice suit or cocktail dress if you prefer. We want everyone to feel comfortable and stylish!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

You may bring a plus one only if your invitation specifically designates this. Please refer to your invitation for details. If you have any questions about your invitation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to ensure you have plenty of time to battle Friday evening traffic on Highway 380.

Is there a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we’ve reserved rooms at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown McKinney. Please visit the "Accommodations" section of the website for more details and booking information. We recommend booking early to ensure availability.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests do not take photos during the ceremony so that our photographer can capture the special moments. We would love the entire evening to be a celebration of the moment, fully unplugged.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want to make sure all of our guests are well taken care of. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know on your RSVP form, and we’ll make arrangements for alternative meal options.

Are there any drink restrictions at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue has specific rules for alcoholic beverages: shots and straight liquor are not allowed. All drinks must be accompanied with a mixer, so please be mindful when ordering. We want everyone to enjoy themselves responsibly!

Are there any restrictions on the send-off?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that guests avoid using birdseed, silly string, or any other messy items for the send-off. We want to keep the venue clean and beautiful, so please help us by choosing alternative ways to celebrate as we leave the event.

Can I change my RSVP after I’ve submitted it?

Answer

If your plans change and you need to adjust your RSVP, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate any updates, but we appreciate it if you can inform us at least thirty days prior to the wedding.

Answer

As much as we love animals, we ask that guests leave their pets at home.
