Do you wanna get married?. . . . well duh!

“If you were a transformer you would be a hot-o-bot and your name would be Optimus Fine.” This was the first message that Danielle received from Mitchell. This gem of a pick up line, might have been met with crickets. However, Danielle does remember reading it to her roommate at the time and laughing. On Christmas day Mitchell tried his luck again and sent a simple Merry Christmas and Danielle took the bait. On January 4th, 2020 Mitchell and Danielle had their first date, dinner and then hitting up Glow Edmonton. Danielle knew right away that the butterflies she was feeling the entire time they were talking were there for a reason. Their first kiss that night was under the brightly light mistletoe…. And that was it. Danielle and Mitchell’s relationship started off like any other relationship with casual dates, until March, 2020 when the world stopped. They became each other's person and spent a lot more time together than most newly dating couples usually do. After living through the trials of COVID their relationship was set. The following years were filled with many different adventures like ice fishing, camping, kayaking, golfing, curling, darts, bowling, skiing and snowboarding, gardening, hiking, traveling, and much more. Many of these things Mitchell made Danielle try for the first time. The couple are always on the go and have made many memories with family and friends. On January 28th, 2024, Mitchell popped the question while the couple was just hanging out at home. The conversation went like this: D: "I am not celebrating anniversaries anymore" M: “When we get married you will celebrate our anniversary” D: “Did you say when we get married or do you want to get married?” M: “I said when…..but do you?” D: “well duh” And that is how we all got here.
