Best Man
We were joined on this trip by Nino, my best man. This title was earned through years of toil. Nino is my cousin, and with only two years and a week more of life experience, has always been an older brother to me. Nino is always present in my fond memories of childhood ranging from NERF battles to my first ever concert, Green Day. We used to create WWE wrestling moves while fighting on the trampoline. Since I was a chubby kid, I used it to my advantage with my signature move, the Bugattack. I would simply jump as high as I could, and bodyslam him. Worked every time! While our wrestling days are behind us, I cherish Nino and couldn't imagine a better best man.
Maid of Honor
Mo and I met in the 5th grade and have been besties ever since. We both realized how special our friendship was early on, and we've been hanging on tightly to each other ever since. We are long-distance, so our visits are few and far between, but we always pick up where we left off, no matter how much time has passed. Growing up with Mo as my best friend was nothing short of interesting. From being kids racing horses when we were supposed to be trail riding, to traveling adventures, every moment you spend with this lady is exciting. Mo, or, as I like to call her "Habibi", has been a constant through every phase of life, and after 15 years of friendship, I could not choose anyone else as my maid of honor.
Groomsman
Devin is my oldest friend. We met in the beginning of elementary school and have been friends ever since. Most of my fondest childhood memories include Devin and his calming, comedic presence, which offset my generally excitable state. Although adulthood has forced us to hang out less, I always look forward to hearing about his veterinary college accomplishments and anxieties.
Bridesmaid
Isabelle and I met when we were about 8 years old at a dog show and then lost touch until our freshman year of high school when we rekindled our friendship. What started as a few sleepovers here and there, ended up as me practically living at Isabelles house. We loved doing everything and nothing together. When we graduated high school and Isabelle moved to attend UCLA, we realized no amount of distance could keep us apart. We keep in touch and make sure to see each other at least once a year. I love this girl to pieces!
Groomsman
Miles is Mitchell's closest friend from college. Meeting Miles in my first year of college during dorm move-in day, I knew I had found a close friend. Every hour outside of class was spent hanging out with our group of friends, and though I moved out of the city, he is my excuse to enjoy it whenever I can. A budding cooking influencer, Miles will astound you with his passion for photography, cycling, pasta, and cycling. Please don't get him going on it!
Bridesmaid
Sasha and I met a few months into Mitchell and I dating and even though she was only 14 years old, we immediately clicked. Now she is a student at the University of Oregon and our hangouts are spread out by months, we truly cherish every single moment together. Although I am older in age, she has taught me so much in the 6 years we have known each other. I feel so lucky to have gained such an amazing person as a little sister.
Officiant
Meet Makenzie, our officiant and Chase's long-term partner on the ambulance. Makenzie and Chase, or Mak and Cheese, as their coworkers know them, met three years ago and immediately became workwives. After holiday parties, beach days, double dates, and hearing about her every day after Chase came home from work, Mitchell started to love Makenzie too. We couldn't think of a better person to help us tie the knot!
