Mitchell and I first met when we were 14 & 15 years old on a chatting website. We had a long distance relationship for 2 years, never meeting in person, but then decided it would be better to just be friends. Fast forward 3 years, I get an opportunity to travel to Texas for the first time. While I'm there, Mitchell and I decided to meet each other face to face for the first time. In Starbucks we chatted for hours and by the time we left we realized that we still have feelings for each other. Fast forward another 6 months and I get to travel to Texas again. This time getting to spend a lot more time with Mitchell. We realized that we were still in love with each other and decided to try having a long distance relationship again. We knew it wouldn't be easy but knew it was worth taking the chance. 4 years later, we are happier than ever.

While visiting Texas, Mitchell took me to the park where we spent time at the weekend before we started dating. We walked over to the spot where we had our first kiss and he got down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and I of course said yes! I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!
