Absolutely — we want all our guests to feel comfortable and cared for. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Please RSVP by September 6, 2025
The wedding ceremony and Nuptial Mass will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for seating and to ensure a smooth and reverent start to the celebration.
Yes! If you’re local and plan to drive, parking is available at both the ceremony and reception venues. For the ceremony, a parking lot is located behind the Cathedral, accessible from Fifth Street. Guests should enter through the main doors on East Lawrence Avenue. For our out-of-town guests, shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and the reception. Please note: Shuttles will not be running for the ceremony. We kindly ask guests to walk or arrange their own transportation to the church.
The ceremony will be a traditional Catholic wedding Mass, which typically lasts about an hour. There will be readings, prayers, music, and a short sermon (homily), followed by the exchange of vows. While there will be moments when Catholic guests may stand, kneel, or participate in Communion, you are not expected to participate in any part that feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable. Simply being present to support us means the world!
There will be a brief break between the ceremony and reception — often called the “Catholic gap.” During this time, feel free to return to the hotel, explore Springfield’s historic sites, or grab a drink at one of our favorite local bars or breweries. You’ll find all our top recommendations on the Our Guide to Springfield page!
We strongly encourage all guests to make use of the shuttle service or arrange alternate transportation—please do not drink and drive.
We are registered at Williams Sonoma and Bloomingdales. You can find all the details under the “Registry” tab!
