Megan Robinson

Maid of Honor

Hey, I’m Megan! I’m Katie’s little sister. One of my favorite memories with Katie and Mitch is going canoeing up north, especially watching them flip the canoe in the rapids! Also visiting them in Seattle. Mitch has always been like a brother, now it’s just official! I’m so excited for you guys and can’t wait to see your future together! Love you guys!

Evan Ruechel

Best Man

Mitch and I go back to the 8th grade. We met playing catch at our sisters softball game where we both didn’t want to say we wanted to stop playing catch so we threw till our arms hurt. Years later we were still warming up together as we were roommates, teammates, and best friends going through our college careers together. I had the chance to be alongside Mitch and Katie and see them grow through the years and couldn’t be more happy for them to start their life together. Congrats Mitch and Katie!

Emily Robinson

Maid of Honor

I met Katie about 25 years ago. I wasn’t too fond of her in the beginning, but turns out she’s grown on me and now were best friends. There isn’t a day that we don’t talk to each other. Mitch has become a brother to me, and I welcome him to our family with open arms. I am beyond happy that these two have found each other and cannot wait to stand by you on your big day! Love you both!

Matt Karger

Groomsman

My name is Matt Karger and soon to be brother in law to Mitch Roberts. I first met Mitch in July of 2017 when we were heading up to Michigan for the Robinson’s annual canoe trip. It was a big weekend for me being the first time being invited to such a big family tradition. I remember Mitch telling me what to be prepared for and just from that initial conversation I knew we were going to get along great. Since then Mitch and I have always been able to talk sports, head out for a round of golf, in which I have yet to win, and joke about the similarities between the two sisters.

Lauren Roberts

Bridesmaid

Spontaneous adventures and hiking the Pacific Northwest were the perfect combination to bring Katie and I together. Katie is not only my future sister-in-law, but I consider her one of my closest friends. We live in different states, but when we see each other we can pick up right where we left off. I love how she is always up for anything and how we can connect in a way that is uniquely us. I am so excited to welcome Katie into the Roberts family and for many more adventures in the future!

Mackenzie Siemans

Groomswoman

Although I haven’t known Mitch very long, it feels like I’ve known him forever. We connected almost instantly over our mutual love of $5 blackjack hands, hockey, and reading. I love Mitch because he is always looking for ways to better himself, which brings out the best in the people around him. You are one of a kind Mitch and I feel so grateful to stand beside you on this memorable day.

Aly Urbanski

Bridesmaid

I met Katie our freshmen year of college where we lived on the same floor! We clicked and became great friends right away! We went on to live on the same floor the next year and shared a house for the remainder of college! We shared so many stories (especially exciting ones about Mitch coming to visit),tears, laughs, and late night Taco Bell runs! Even though we live in different states now, I still feel like nothing has changed and I consider her one of my best friends! I can’t wait to stand by you on your big day KT!

Tanner Tanck

Groomsman

I met Mitch when I was probably 8-9 years old. We grew up playing hockey together and eventually graduated high school together. We both attended UWO for a year in which Mitch and Katie met. Mitch and I have been through a lot of tough times for the both of us as well as many great times.

Emily Collins

Bridesmaid

I met Katie on Facebook actually, we were both looking for a roommate for our for our first year of college. When we finally met in person, I felt as if I had known her my whole life. Even through two cross-country moves, we have managed to make so many incredible memories together. I am so lucky to have someone like Katie in my life and I am so excited to see what the future has in store for her and Mitch!

Danny Watkinson

Groomsman

Kia ora tatou I am Danny Watkinson aka Danny-Boy. I am Mitchie-Boys cousin, we grew up in Auckland together. We were close as youngsters as our families did alot together-we played Rugby League in the winter for the Pt Chev Pirates, dressed up in our Halloween costumes (which was only new in NZ at the time so Aunty Therese would make them), went to the Beach, spent summer weekends at Norana Park watching our Dads play Softball, had scones on Sundays at Nana Robyn's house, played on the 11th Green at Akarana Golf Course-when we weren't meant to and got up to no good with his neighbours cat. There were many a family BBQ dissecting and analyse anything from Softball to League. We also had fun in Green Bay when Uncle Mike's car(with us in it)slid off the road in an Ice Storm one Christmas.

Hannah Mathew

Bridesmaid

I met Katie Freshman year of high school. Over those 4 years, we bonded over performing in the school musicals, goofing off in Spanish class, and spending most weekends together. Despite going to different colleges and living in different cities/states since then, we have remained close. I live in Sacramento, California where I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I am honored to stand by Katie and Mitch on their big day!

Mani Strempler

Groomsman

My first memory of my cousin Mitch was in Wisconsin in the winter. He showed me some hockey moves on an outdoor rink. It was the first experience of many good times.
