Yes, you can bring your kids! We have a son of our own and this will be a family-friendly wedding. We would love to see your little ones there!
If you're not Catholic, the Catholic Mass is pretty easy to follow. There will be programs to help as well if you've never been to a Catholic Mass. However, during Communion, please either stay in your seat OR come up to the minister with your arms crossed and your hands on your opposite shoulders to receive a blessing. We ask that you do not receive Holy Communion if you're not Catholic.
The attire is semi-formal! Please dress appropriately for a Catholic Mass. The reception will be outside, but not on grass, so you can still wear heels if you would like. However, it will be September in North Carolina. Plan on hot temperatures with the possibility of it getting slightly chiller at nighttime!
The parking situation still needs to be figured out in exact detail, but stay tuned closer to the wedding and we will update it here! You will be able to park on site for both the ceremony and reception, so no need to stress about that.
In general, no. We ask that you only bring a plus one if specifically mentioned on YOUR invitation. If you are not offered one on your invitation, please do not bring one.
We unfortunately are not able to provide hotel accommodations or transportation services, so if you are coming in from out of town and are unsure of where to stay, please see the Travel section for hotel recommendations! We understand it may not be financially possible to come for some people, but we would love to see as many of you as possible!
