Our college love story started off as most do, in the backyard of a frat party a few weeks into freshman year. We instantly clicked and were immediately great friends. Our friendship grew throughout freshman year and one of the first things that I loved about Mitch was the fact that we could talk about anything for hours. We went on 2am walks to Insomnia cookies, traveled to visit each other's friends at other colleges and Mitch even came to Cleveland to meet my family all while we were "just friends". Sophomore year started and we were both hesitant to date each other (I think because we knew that we were soulmates). Eventually Mitch convinced me to go on a date. I called my Mom all excited about this date and she said "well it is about time!" Mitch took me to the slugger museum, to Doc Crows and then we poured some wine into red solo cups and took a stroll across the walking bridge. That was where Mitch asked me to be his girlfriend and about five years later in that same spot, his wife. We are so excited to celebrate with you in Louisville, the city that means so much to both of us!
