Edna is one of the most wonderful humans you will ever meet. She's been my best friend since about junior year of high school, but we'd been friends since freshmen year. Her independence, amicability, style, confidence, kind heart, and sense of adventure are just a few things I love about her. Above all, Edna has been there for me through it all. The moves, the heart breaks- always just a phone call or flight away from the very beginning of our adult lives to well into the present. Edna has taught me so much in life; she's like my little guru, and I hope she considers me hers. I believe the best friendships can come from two very different people who are open minded and eager to learn. I couldn't think of any one better to be my Maid of Honor and stand right beside me on my big day.
Michelle Beaird

Michelle is my older sister and longest friend. Like every little girl looks up to her older sister, I stared at Michelle wide-eyed with imitation. I thought she was the bee's knee's; her dance skills, her cool, calm and collected manner. As adults, we are closer than ever, with her visiting often, and always answering the phone when I need her. Michelle is smart, fun, well-traveled, practical, crafty, and a great listener. I highly value her opinion. I had to have her in my bridesmaid squad. It's true, there's just nothing like having a sister you grew up with as a lifelong companion.
Mercedes Martinez

Mercedes is such a good friend that plays a huge role in me and Mitch's love story. Mercedes and I met in the middle of my time at college. We hit it off immediately and became best friends quickly. Mercedes is an intriguing character, I see her as the 'beautiful mysterious woman in the trench coat being chased after but always gets away' in a film noir style flick. Her knowledge of film subculture fascinates me. Mercedes is down to earth, caring, and unique. She is the perfect addition to my bridal squad and I can't imagine it any other way!
Andrea O'cain

Andrea is my closest cousin and truly a gift to whomever knows her. Maybe its her smile, or her contagious laughter, but Andrea has a way about her that lights up the room. She is a hilarious, one of a kind, gorgeous, Texas delight. Andrea is a wonderful mother to five epic children: two sets of twin girls, Audrey, Eleena, Jessalyn, and Eesiree, and a little boy named Noah. The highlight of my year is when they come to visit here in Georgia!

Lauren has been my best friend since freshmen year of high school. We had the most amazing adventures together as teenagers. Between punk rock shows and train rides across town we made memories I will cherish forever. She has always been the life of the party, the cool chick, and the best friend a girl could ask for. Even though we haven't seen each other in a while, I can't imagine saying "I do" without her! Lauren is an awesome mother to two beautiful boys Vincent, age 5, and Edward, 1, who I cannot wait to meet!
