Our wedding will be held outdoors in a greenhouse, so we recommend Garden Formal attire. Think elegant yet comfortable—flowy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits with light fabrics. October in North Carolina can be tricky: hot during the day, chilly in the evening, so we recommend layers! Ladies, please avoid wearing white. We kindly ask everyone to skip the jeans, casual flip-flops, and work boots. Keep in mind that the ceremony is outdoors in a greenhouse—so while you're welcome to get fancy, be cautious with stilettos or tiny heels (we’d hate for you to sink into the ground!). There will be outdoor heaters during cocktail hour and a cozy indoor space nearby in case of rain. A portable accessibility ramp will be available for anyone who may need it.
Ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. A more detailed timeline will be available on the day!
The ceremony and reception will both be held at The Greenhouse at Arrow Farms. It’s an outdoor greenhouse with a magical woodland vibe. Check the “Location” page for directions and parking info!
Yes! Free parking is available on-site. For those traveling for the weekend, we highly recommend carpooling for the event. There will be signs to follow, but keep in mind you will enter through a wooden gravel path off of the main road.
Yes! There’s a portable accessibility ramp and accessible indoor areas.
That choice is up to you. There are several Airbnbs in the area, as well as some small hotels near by. 'Nicer' hotel accommodations can be found closer to the larger cities nearby (Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham), but they are a longer drive.
We will have a charcuterie table for snacking during cocktail hour. During dinner we will have a buffet of Italian food and sides. There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options available! If you have any dietary or allergen requests please let us know!
Yes we will have alcohol at the event.
While we love your little ones, we’re keeping the guest list limited due to space and seating. Children specifically named on your invitation are welcome to attend. If your children's names are not specifically on the invite, please consider a babysitter for the evening. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a relaxed celebration for all!
If your invitation includes a plus one, we’d love for them to come! If you’re unsure, just reach out. Due to seating limited by the venue, we ask that you not bring anyone who wasn't included on your invite.
Yes! You can find our registry page on the website. Anything you would like to gift is appreciated, but never expected or required. If you feel inclined, there are a few cash funds on our registry (you could donate towards the honeymoon, a house deposit, or just a general fund), or we have a few things listed for around the house if you would rather give a physical gift.
We have a covered cocktail area with heaters and a cozy indoor backup plan in case of bad weather. Don’t worry—we’ve got it all handled!
