We met the way many couples do these days—online. But the twist? It was on JDate, the Jewish dating site. While that might seem like a natural fit for Mitch, who was raised Jewish, it could seem like an odd match for Donna, who’s Italian Catholic. But if you’ve ever tasted Donna’s gefilte fish and brisket, you’ll understand just how fitting it really was. Our first date was at Woodmont Grille, and it quickly became our place. We've celebrated every anniversary there for the past nine years—usually ordering the exact same meal (why mess with perfection?). From the beginning, we connected over shared values and the comfort of being able to fully be ourselves with one another.
